2. No cookies, no tracking, no analytics

This site does not set any cookies, does not use any analytics or tracking scripts (such as Google Analytics or similar tools), and does not embed any third-party fonts, ads, or trackers. All fonts, images, and scripts are hosted locally as part of this site. Because no such technologies are used, no cookie consent banner is shown.

3. Hosting (GitHub Pages)

This site is hosted using GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc. (a subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation). When you visit this site, your browser connects directly to GitHub's servers, which automatically process technical data necessary to deliver the page — typically your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of the request ("server log data"). I do not have access to this log data myself; it is processed by GitHub as an independent controller under its own privacy statement.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website). For details on GitHub's data processing, including any transfer of data to the United States and the safeguards that apply to it, see GitHub's Privacy Statement.

4. Email contact

Links on this site that start with "mailto:" simply open your own email application; no data is transmitted through this website when you click them. If you choose to email me, I process the information you send (e.g. your email address and message content) only to respond to your inquiry, based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling correspondence) or, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract).

5. Your rights under the GDPR

Subject to the legal requirements, you have the right to:

request access to personal data concerning you (Art. 15 GDPR);
request rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR);
request erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR);
request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
data portability (Art. 20 GDPR); and
object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
